Meet Lauren, Steven & Honey

It all began in the fall of 2021, when Lauren and Steven first met the old fashioned way, over a bar top. Though Lauren had already set her sights on relocating to North Bennington, this didn't deter the pair from pursuing their newfound connection. The geographical distance between Steven's continued residence in Massachusetts and Lauren's soon-to-be home in Vermont became merely a detail in their budding partnership. Their bond was only strengthened over the next year by frequent visits, deepening their relationship with every mile traveled.

By the summer of 2023, strengthening love led Steven to North Bennington as well, merging not just their lives but their aspirations too. Now, they’re more than just committed partners; they’re business collaborators focused on sharing the time-honored tradition of sourdough baking with their cherished community of Bennington County and Southwest Vermont.
